Our Story
Feed a Hippie™ was born in 2007 from our desire to travel and see more live music. We dove into the art of tie-dye with the idea we could sell them while “on the road”. After several years of traveling down that road with unwavering dedication, our willingness to experiment with every batch of dyes, wild colors and designs, we’ve managed to turn this hobby into a career. Feed a Hippie™ has rocked Shakedown Street at many large and small scale live music events, as well as maintaining an active and popular online presence. Over time we have gained fans from coast to coast (and even a few from across the seas).
Wanting to take our dye game into the 21st century, we’ve been practicing the art of graphic design. This new ability is allowing us to create unique digital images taken of our original tie-dyed items. We can then use these images for All-Over printing (sublimation printing ) on shirts, tapestries, bandannas and so much more. We are super excited to see where this new found medium will take us.
